Running and Winning, a non-partisan workshop for high school junior and senior women, was developed in 2000 by the League of Women Voters of Camden County, New Jersey. The program focuses on empowering women to have their voices heard.

The program gives the high school women the opportunity to sit down in small groups of six with a facilitator to interview women elected officials and learn about what motivated the officials to serve in public office, what is involved in their elected position as well as their individual experience as a candidate. The students gain knowledge of what it takes to become involved in student government leadership, to help with political campaigns, to serve on county and city commissions, and to run for political office.
