At the BOD meeting on Sept. 24th 2016, the AAUW Arizona Board of Directors voted to provide 14 scholarships at $500 each for members to defray the expense of attending the National Convention in DC, June 14 through June 17, 2017. We have 14 branches and will attempt to give one grant to each branch.
Feb. 15 is the first deadline with subsequent deadlines the 1st and 15th of March and April. The final deadline is the 1st of May. The date applications are received will be a factor in the selection process. In the event there are not 14 branches applying, we will consider additional applications and may award second scholarships to branches until all allocated funds are used.

b. With the branch presidents approval, the request will be passed on to the AAUW of Arizona treasurer, Ana Nygren. treasurer@aauwarizona.org
c. Ana will record name and date the application was received by her.
d. After the convention, the members with the approved applications will send a reimbursement form to Ana along with proof in the form of copies of receipts up to $500 spent at the convention. Click here for the expense form that is available on our state website.
e. The treasurer will record and reimburse the member upon receipt of the documents.
