{"id":52,"date":"2014-10-10T21:51:21","date_gmt":"2014-10-11T04:51:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.aauwarizona.com\/?page_id=52"},"modified":"2017-10-30T14:11:22","modified_gmt":"2017-10-30T21:11:22","slug":"advocacy","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.aauwarizona.org\/staging\/advocacy\/","title":{"rendered":"Public Policy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The AAUW Arizona\u2019s Public Policy program underscores the mission of advancing equity for women and girls through advocacy, education, philanthropy and research.<\/p>\n<div>At the September 2017 AAUW of AZ board meeting, we voted to focus on three policy issues this year. \u00a0While our branches may adopt separate issues to focus on, the state organization will stress <strong>Title IX<\/strong>, <strong>Women&#8217;s health<\/strong> and <strong>Reviving the ERA<\/strong>.
